Electrical Design and Motor Company Inc. has a wide range of experience bringing innovative automation to several companies from distribution to manufacturing to food processing. Take a look below at just a few projects EDMCI has completed.
Electrical Design and Motor Control Inc. was selected by NBI, a local bottling plant, to completely renovate their entire bottling operation. EDMCI was responsible for demolition of the current electrical panels, conveyor controls, transformers and other related equipment.
Electrical Design and Motor Control Inc. hired Arthur Engineering to complete the electrical system grid including a new 4000 amp PGE Meter, four 800 amp sub panels, 25 control panels and thousands of electrical controls. EDMCI applied for the permits, attended progress meetings, and completely installed all the electrical devices for the project.
Electrical Design and Motor Control's installation employees are California certified electricians who were responsible for the many miles of wire, stainless steel conduits, rigid galvanized conduits, and EMT conduits that were required for this project. Our technicians mount and route all the conduits with maintenance personnel in mind. Not only should the conduits be strong, but they should be nice to look at and neatly tucked away.
Milk Plant Project
Electrical Design and Motor Control Inc. designed then built the UL control panels, installed the electrical devices and wiring, programmed the PLC's and debugged the system all on time and within budget. During this job, the pallet conveyor posed a special space mounting problem which we solved by installing the wireway system to carry all the power and controls wiring back to each of the panels. The customer, especially the maintenance staff, was pleased with our solution to this problem.
Electrical Design and Motor Control Inc. listened to what the customer required for their design scheme. Then we took that information and provided shop drawings for their approval containing parts to be used, layouts, programming blocks, and a sequence of operation. After complete review on paper, we provided the exact expectation in real form.
Electrical Design and Motor Control Inc. could mount conduits with one hole straps on the legs of conveyor or down closer to the ground to speed up the installation. But why? We are in this business for the long haul. We take pride in each piece of conduit that is placed. We care how it looks, how it is protected from damage, and how it is clear for future maintenance.
